Postman chose his pseudonym very simply – by translating his last name, Pochtar, into English. In fact, this decision is reflected in his straightforward, nostalgic, light and dreamy music.

The main instrument that accompanies his voice is the acoustic guitar,through which he conveys the mood of those warm moments that are already in the past, and those that need to be experienced and enjoyed here and now.

The albums of the Kyiv resident trace not only soulful singing through guitar, but also frequent experiments with synthesizers and electronic sounds. Inspired by the music of the 60s and the aesthetics of impressionism, Kostiantyn Pochtar calls his genre “urban folk”.

Now Postman’s career is on the rise: he is touring Europe extensively (including Zermatt Unplugged, Fusion, Sziget and OFF festivals) and has released three solo albums (the latest, ‘Still Life’, released in 2023, is accompanied by a live band).

Perhaps the best experience of listening to this artist might be at the most unexpected moment, such as during a picnic with friends on a sunny lawn with sunset and wine, or a walk in a rainy city, or a time of solitary relaxation at home. In any case, unlocking happy moments and the feeling of living in the moment is guaranteed.
