After a seven-year hiatus, Kiasmos — made up of Icelandic composer Ólafur Arnalds and Faroese musician Janus Rasmussen — have dropped a three-track EP entitled ‘Flown’ as well as the title-track’s music video. Directed by Greg Barnes, the beautiful black and white short-film follows a solitary man who becomes obsessed with all things flying, whether it’s a small kite or Kiasmos’ diamond-shaped logo.
The ambient and poetic piece was written in Iceland and inspired by UK electronic music and modern classical. These are fine inspirations you’ll be able to enjoy this summer: the duo has announced live shows in Reykjavik, London, Berlin, Brussels, Bilbao, Budapest, and more.
